The Bridge Inn

This humble building is usually the first or last sight anyone has of Avondale. It has 1 communal sleeping room and 8 smaller private rooms (sleeping from one to four people each) all clean but simple. A palette in a common room costs but a 5 copper pieces a night while a private room costs from 2 silver pieces. Food is simple but the portions are large and the ale (made by the innkeeper herself) is famous for its flavour and strength. The innkeeper is a quiet human female, Jerili Task, who though kind, is strong enough to deal with even the most boisterous dwarf.

1 Main Taproom

This large 'L'-shaped room has a large fireplace in the NW wall, very welcome on a chilly winter's evening. The room is cleaned daily and the furniture is sturdy and safe. If a good bard is in town he or she will normally play here before going on to the Market Tavern, for they know that here they will get an audience that will appreciate them. Jerrii often gets dancers, jugglers or bards in to entertain her customers. Food and drink are served by one or other of the two serving girls, Helena and Romana, who are nieces of Jerili.
A stair leads up to the accomodation on the upper floors.

2 Private Room

For those that need privacy for meetings or asignations Jerili will hire them this room for 1gp for the evening and will ensure that they are not disturbed.

3 Bar

Jerili or her partner Eammon will be behind the bar. Serving drinks, taking orders for food and conversing with the customers. Both are friendly and cheerful though they don't take kindly to anyone who causes trouble. Eamon is tall and though he is a little overweight he is strong enough to bang a few heads together. He keeps a large club above the bar in case trouble breaks out. It rarely does though, unlike some of the other inns and taverns in the town.

4 Kitchen

Jerili and her sister Lara spend much of the day in here, baking bread, making stews and pies for the evening meals. The kitchen is clean and well organised. No guests are allowed in here. Lara or Jerili will chase anyout who dare to set foot in her domain. A trapdoor leads down to a cellar and cold store.

5 Common Room

This room can sleep two dozen comfortably, though more could be accomodated on hammocks and floor palettes if pushed. Under each bed is a drawer which holds spare linen. There is no where to store private goods or valuables, Jerili advises that her guests carry such goods on their person. "You never know who you're bunking with." she says to any who enquire. Each bed costs 5 coppers a night, a price which includes a hearty breakfast of eggs, bread and bacon. The beds are clean and mostly free of ticks and fleas.

6 Madam Task's Room

The door to this room is locked. It is where Jerili sleeps and spends any time she is not working.
